Philosopher Stone
It's sunny here today, so I went out to the quarry to meditate on some of the decisions I need to make in life. The birds were singing songs about how cool it is to have lived through the winter, be getting laid, and having little birds. Some big bees were buzzing around looking for a nice piece of wood to bore into and make more bees.
I find thinking, or meditation, or spiritual oneness (whatever you'd like to call it) much easier after about a half hour in such an environment. I think I'm now more ready to roll with whatever life has to offer in the next month.
Oh, yesterday I started and finished "Devil in Paradise." Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. I had never read any Henry Miller before. I can definitely see similiarities in his style and Anais Nin's. The tale is told compellingly. I think it should be required reading for kind and generous people.
