The sedation went as well as sleeping can go. The waking up bit wasn't bad, but I did find the ride home kind of nauseating and uncomfortable. When I got home I fell onto the bed and didn't much move for another three hours. I must admit I can't remember much of the ride home now (or if I took my pants of or [livejournal.com profile] derien did for that matter). The results of the procedure show normal. No problems. Completely ignoring that, I'm going back on the gluten-free diet because my experience shows I feel better on it. I might cheat occasionally now, but I'll follow it when I'm at home.

Today was a warm and wonderful spring day so I took a walk down to the bookshop. The doctor said I shouldn't go shopping under the effects of the sedation, but I figured it couldn't cause much harm at a used bookstore. I got a copy of the Koran, a field guide to N. American Mammals, and a field guide to Northeastern Birds. All of these were published when Bertie Wooster was a baby.

Other than that I did almost nothing. I'll blame the after effects of the sedation. It's not that I read a bit of the HHGTTG radio scripts, did a load of dishes, bent some chainmaille rings and had no energy.
