cyberquail left this morning. It was a short but very pleasant visit involving much good food.
Sunday night derien and I made pappadums, garlic chutney, lamb curry, and basmati rice, of course. Monday cyberquail and derien set off on the adventure of our first paneer pakoras and a hot coconut prawn curry. Tuesday morning we started the day with yummy sausages and eggs and finished the day with Beef Phal, the Devil's Own Chutney, and the usual rice and pappadums. It was all quite delicious. I'm still full.


It was a wonderful visit, too short but that is the nature of good visits.

Today I've done very little despite the fact I had the day off and was up early. All I've really accomplished is getting three loads of dishes washed and reading 150 pages of Carpe Jugulum.
