I finished this month's Asimov's on, uh, Wednesday I think.

James Patrick Kelly surprised me with a different pace and execution in his "Don't Stop." Harry Turtledove's "News From the Front" is a political piece which is witty and fun as long as you have air ride suspension of disbelief for its bumpy stretched comparisons. Neal Asher continues to add layers of complexity to the gabbleduck's history and future in "Alien Archaeology." It's amazing to remember the other stories from the same universe and how perception shifted with each of the stories. Carrie Vaughn's "Marrying In" implies a rich world that leaves me curious. Holly Phillips' "Three Days of Rain" somehow failed to do so, I'm not sure why.

Another solid, varied issue.
