everything's just kind of sad.

so I can go to sleep." -- Blake Babies "I'll Take Anything"
Well, today there was driving in the rain, which isn't too bad as long as you don't push it. Then a conversation I really didn't want to have about a bit of reality I'd really like to avoid thinking about. Then more driving in the rain. Getting drenched at a greenhouse. A visit to a graveyard. Passing by the house I had to give up because I couldn't find the wherewithall to keep it. More driving in the rain. The timing probably just wasn't real good.
"Tragedies often become comedies and they better become comedies really quick or you're in a helluva lot of trouble." -- Jimmy Buffet
I believe I'm going to have sit down with some processed potatoes and escape just a bit further from reality. I'm not sure whether I want to watch Harold and Maude or Henry and June. Harold and Maude is such a sweet love story. Henry and June makes me want all kinds of things, including Maria de Medeiros.
