the state of the union

According to this NEA report I am one of the minuscule minority. Over 95% of US adults watch more than an hour of TV per day on average. The average adult watches 2.9 hours of television per day. No wonder I'm so culturally out of touch. I don't know enough about what's on television now to even mock it properly.

The report primarily talks about reading or lack thereof in America. It's not a surprise, but it's still sad.
