I survived
Feb. 15th, 2005 12:27 pmMade it through the surgery. It wasn't too bad other than not being able to eat or drink for so long and post surgery nausea. Once I got some solid food, got warm, and took my pain med I started feeling much better. Today I'm stiff and ache all over. I feel like I should be able to do things but I have less than zero concentration (even without the vicodin I took two hours ago). According to
derien, the doctor said the surgery went well. Right now my ear is packed with all kinds of antibiotics and stuff so I can't tell.
Poor Paula went from kind of stubbly to unable to walk at all over the last three days. This morning
derien carried her into the vets. I don't have it in me to write a proper eulogy right now. I just hope the last few days weren't too painful or frustrating for her.
