(no subject)

The cold is in full swing. Yesterday I was actually reduced to turning on the tv and channel surfing through our 5 channels of fuzzy programming.

Today is marginally better I'm pumping myself full of tea and trying to maintain focus for more than 15 seconds.

Next week is another weird week: three days of work, ending in a doctors appt. after work Wed, then a day off which will be spent entertaining Teena (well, hopefully I'll be entertaining), then two more days of work. I'm very happy to have the break in the middle of the week and glad Teena has the day off to join me.

vacations

Okay, here's your chance to get your requests in! Due to requirements of derien's employer, we need to have much of our vacation schedule planned well in advance this year. We actually need to have the plans made by Dec. 1.

So, if you would like to come visit us anytime in the next 14 months and want us to have time off while you're here, let us know what dates you are planning to be here. If you'd like us to come visit you, speak now or you will not be included on the very long list of ways we can spend our limited vacation time.

At some point during the next week we will probably sit down and discuss the hows and wheres.
