reading (June Asimov's)
Apr. 3rd, 2006 07:11 pmThe most outstanding stories in the latest Asimov's were "The Ninth Part of Desire" which was spooky, cynical, and sweetly romantic. The remaining stories were pretty good, but none stands out for me. Jim Kelly's "The Leila Torn Show" just didn't click with me. That surprised me, because often Jim's stories hit just the right spot. Overall, it was a average to good episode, no bottom of the barrel stuff, but not a dinner out with your favorite person.
