reading (The BFG)

I finished Roald Dahl's "The BFG" last night. I didn't have as much fun reading it as some of the other Dahl books. I can't quite put a finger on it, just didn't get into it quite as much as others. I think it would be more fun read aloud.

If you're thinking of reading this to a child you'd better be a proficient reader and in top form. The way the giants speak is tongetwisterishy. I'm sure it'll challenge and delight a kid to listen to, but it'll challenge the reader to get it right. Practice by reciting the jabberwock backwards while standing on your head. No, it's not that tough, I just wanted to see you recite the Jabberwocky backwards and upside down.
