don't take it personally

Don't take it personally, but I hate mankind today. Now there are plenty of big reasons to hate mankind. Mankind, taken in the sum total of its goods and bads, sucks. But it's usually little things that reminds me just how deep the suck is. Today at work somebody, who should know better, said something completely thoughtless and just plain asinine. It got me wound up. I came home with a headache to a cold apartment.

I think I will listen to music, have a drink, and drown my sorrows in popcorn.

Not the Holiday Wish List Meme

Many people on LJ are posting the Holiday Wish List meme this year. I am not. My material needs are few and my life is well and thoroughly blessed.

If you're really dead set on parting with your hard won financial assets, find a suitable charity, give to them, and write me a note about the cool charity you have decided to support.

I will happily read your cards and letters, should you wish to favor me with such kindness. Proposals and lewd propositions are only accepted in person. (Well, I couldn't write an entirely serious post!)
