being sick is mostly boring and irritating

Yesterday was pretty much a complete loss. I woke up at 10:30am after twelve hours of sleep (restless sleep, but still!). I was too achy to read or sit in front of the computer. I ended up poking away at housework with some limited success. Today the fever is down somewhat and likewise with the muscle aches. As I feel up to it I'm attacking various surfaces around the house with bleach water in the vague hope that this won't become the House of Ongoing Plague. We leave for Florida in seven days, I want to be healthy!

It's beautifully sunny today and I've got all the blinds open to capture every ray I can.
