reading (Boy)
Jun. 18th, 2008 06:23 amI finished reading Roald Dahl's "Boy" last night. It is a collection of autobiographical tales of Dahl's childhood. A very funny book. I enjoyed reading whole chunks of it aloud and
derien laughed a lot at the parts I chose. The stories are very much everyday life, but they are also extraordinary. Dahl's sense of delivery and timing are great and the content is enough alien from modern life give it exotic flavor. A wonderful set of stories.
