I don't often get applause
Apr. 1st, 2010 07:21 pmToday I got applause from the doctor, literally. My blood pressure is now in the middle of the normal range. Since November I've lost 13lbs. The doctor put off further tests of my blood sugar and cholesterol until my next annual visit. I got a tetanus shot just in case (my idea). I also got a cream for the skin rash that I got from whatever it is out back. Last summer it got much worse before I sought treatment. That sucked. I'm hoping after this round, whatever it was will be gone from the yard.
On the way home I picked up some more soil. I might get that spread tomorrow, but it may be better to just wait until Saturday morning. The guy who is picking up the railroad ties is supposed to be back for his next load after work tomorrow. Lifting those into the back of the truck is a workout.
Tonight I should get some things cleaned up around the house and get some more stuff in the bag for England. Yes, it's less than a week now! I'd better get out and take some walks to get my legs warmed up.
