reading (Sleeping Murder)
Nov. 10th, 2010 07:51 pmI finished Agatha Christie's "Sleeping Murder" last night. No, I'm not expecting to join the book a day club, I just had the time and it was cold and dreary outside. I am lousy at mysteries, I get caught up in enjoying the story and completely forget to tie together the clues. As
derien observed when we were talking about it, this book is very classist. The lower class characters aren't portraid favorably. Then again, there aren't many of the characters that are portraid favorably. I do like how the story starts on one tack and changes completely on a word from Miss Marple.
