reading catching up
Dec. 31st, 2012 08:33 pmI started this February's Asimov's during the flight to Florida and finished it up while in West Palm (somehow I misplaced January's issue before reading it, but now I've found it again).
I started Dickens' A Christmas Carol while in Orlando and finished it up in Daytona. Dickens shoves a lot humor into this story. I love the language. Even if you've seen shows or movies, reading the story is a different experience.
40. Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol
39. Asimov's January 2012
That's a pretty low total for the year, but I'm halfway through a 600+ page programming book. Looking back, I read a lot of non-fiction this year and some it was pretty heavy going. Hard to believe I started the year with Lemony Snicket, that seems like years and years ago, I guess its been a busy year.
