reading (catching up)
Mar. 22nd, 2013 06:46 pmWow, being down after recovering from toe surgery makes for a lot of books on the list. Then again, they were mostly easy books because I didn't have a lot of brain. Just a few notes:
I really enjoyed Winter Holiday.
In contrast, Addams Family Values was awful. I love the characters, but the writing was dismal. It doesn't look like there was any effort to actually rewrite the movie script into a novel form. In books you need different staging, different descriptions, different jokes. With good direction and acting, this would be a truly funny movie, but it was a dismal book.
