Almost all of yesterday was spent moving one of the large piles of honeysuckle downhill to the burn area. It was one of the two largest piles and we got a bit of a late start moving it. But we got it down to the fire pit and spent the evening cutting it up and putting it on the fire. That was really hard after a long day.

Today I moved the pile of Japanese barberry down to the burn area, then clipped up part of one of the rose piles and all of another one of the honeysuckle piles and Derien moved the honeysuckle down to the burn area. Then this evening we burned all that we moved. Once again, completely exhausted, but glad to have gotten that much moved and cleaned up. We still have two clipped piles of rose to move, two piles of rose to clip and move, and one large pile of honeysuckle to clip and move. We may not be able to do one of the rose piles or the honeysuckle pile because one of the cat birds seems very possessive of the area. I haven't figured out if he has a nest there or not, but until I figure out where it is I'm not going to disturb the area.

Still have enough to move and burn tomorrow. Plus there is a pile of big stuff already down by the burn area that we could work on.

Tomorrow I hope to do something other than brush. Anything other than brush.
