I've been talking derien's ear off lately whenever we are conscious and in the same room. Maybe it's just my brain resisting the lethe-like pull of lack of sunlight. derien is very good at listening to me ramble on endlessly then dropping two sentences in that show she understands all. She may deny the existence of brain, but she definitely has one.

Just arrived in the mail, beautiful copies of "1984" and "A Canticle for Leibowitz". They are so pretty and so sexy and so dystopian. It's hard to believe there is enough love in my heart for both of them, but there is.
