eorI finished "The Ersatz Elevator" this afternoon. This installment of the Series of Unfortunate Events features some brick wall satiric criticism. Some familiar friends return to the action and there are some new twists in the ongoing plot.
I did run into one godawful clunker of a plot hole. If you read the book, pay attention to where the rope is tied when Jerome goes out. I know, there are many implausibilities inherent in these books, but this is just an "oops, forgot my details" moment.
