It's been sunny this week, so I've been out working on the van in the afternoons. Just a week from now will be the first camping of the season.



things I finished this week:

• Replaced the rear heater core and valve


• Replaced the two broken heater control levers/slides


• Replaced the bulb that sits behind the heater control levers


• cleaned the front wheels (they get filthy with brake pad dust)


• tried to bleed the cooling system, it appears bled, but I don't trust it

on tap for this weekend:

• wash the outside


• vacuum the inside


• launder the removable upholstery


• clean fridge, stove, sink


• clean cabinets


• clean water tank


• wash dishes


• get propane heater functional, every time not just occasionally


• try to figure out how to mount the grey water tank


• test smoke/CO2 detector


• isolate the damn squeak I couldn't track down this week


• general getting ready for camping

I also renewed my driver's license, so I'll be able to drive through the summer.
