reading (Another Fine Myth)

I finished "Another Fine Myth" today over lunch. I had never read any of the books in this series before, although I've seen them around for years. I must say I was kind of disappointed. I guess I've been spoiled by Terry Pratchett's puns and silliness. I didn't find "Another Fine Myth" all that fun to read. Oh, it wasn't as boring as my posts about working on the van, but it's not great either. If I was looking for something to inspire and delight a young reader, I don't think this would be the first thing I'd grab.
