baroque and blue

eorFirst the baroque: I was just suddenly realized I really can't get too much Vivaldi. Ofra Harnoy's Vivaldi cello concertos have long been one of my favorite pieces. But I was just listening to the La Stravaganza concertos and realized that I just really enjoy Vivaldi. Beautiful.
Second the blue: I haven't posted anything other than book reviews in quite a while. That is in part because I've been pretty down. The whole thing with Derien's dad is a reasonable justification for feeling blue. I've also been frustrated by some other things making it feeling like progress in life is non-existent. Winter not being willing to end has also added insult to injury a bit. It's not just that I haven't wanted to spread gloom and doom, although that's a fair reason to keep your mouth shut. Mainly it's that I just haven't had the words or the capacity to express myself. I've been kind of curled up waiting for this winter to end like a bear, or perhaps a hedgehog.
