eorJust finished Steinbeck's East of Eden. I think he tried to put to much in one book and ended up with a muddle. Maybe it was a family history. Maybe it was a fictional metaphorical epic. Maybe it could have been better as a couple of shorter works. I won't be reading it again and I won't recommend it to friends.
