eorOnce again I've restarted working on the "purse of many versions". The challenge is to make it entirely out of chainmail. All my other incarnations have been unable to support themselves.
This attempt consists of 3/16in 18gauge bright aluminum rings which will be contrasted by copper rings. What makes this iteration different is that I'm using the European 6 in 1 weave. With the ring size I'm using that is a very dense weave. If the piece I'm currently working on is any indication closing the ends will be nearly impossible. But so far it appears that a sheet will stand straight up.
