Today begins a 30 day elimination of one of Florida's gas taxes. The net effect is that overnight gas prices dropped 8 cents per gallon in Florida.
The cut was first proposed by a Democratic state senator, but timing for both the state elections and cutting the "bounce" in polls from the DNC are sweet for Republicans. Don't think Jeb didn't consider his brother's fate when this bill came onto the desk.
