eorVery busy weekend this weekend, but I have very little ambition left to write about it.
Went down to Boston Saturday to visit![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
matushan while she's in town. It was wonderful, fine food, fine conversation, fine dancing, and fine company. Alas, it had to end.
derien's chainmail skirt was well received and looked as good under the lights of the club as it did in daylight. The slight rattle and movement in motion work just like I wanted them to.
Dancing was quite fun, although the DJ could have played better songs for most of the night. I love the sensory overload involved in dancing into a trance when the dance floor is populated with different people in interesting or boring outfits, moving to the beat or failing to. There are too many people to list, but we did have the Attack of the Killer Bellies and lots of other interesting companions. Notably missing was one of my favorite regular dancers, the handsome black guy who always dresses in boots, a sparkling white dress shirt, and a schoolgirl skirt.
We got home a little after 3am, totally exhausted. I slept until eleven and felt as if I'd been the guest of honor at a blanket party.
In my spare time I've been playing around making code bits for the zMUD client on Discworld MUD. It's fun to play with.
