Thanks to a happy coincidence of a slow period at work and a Big Snowstorm(tm) I have had three and a half days off in a row prior to my ear surgery. This has given me the rare opportunity to rest, finish up a huge project, get caught up on the everyday housework, and do some spring cleaning way before spring. Today is beautifully sunny. I'm poking around doing little things and checking the last items off of the things-I-need-to-do-before-surgery list.

I scanned the last of derien's old letters on Friday. It ended up somewhere around 6,400 pages all together. It's now written out to 3 DVDs and a bunch of CDs. It's done. Yippee!
