I heard our beloved leader quoted on the radio the other day. It was such a jewel of self contradiction I have to wonder if he worked on it for hours to bring it to perfection. I didn't write it down so I may not get it precisely right, but here goes: "We don't want to dictate a government to Iraq. We will make it possible for the Iraqi people to make a government of their own. (pause for canned applause) There will be democracy in Iraq."

Now wait a minute. If it's their choice, it is their choice. They may choose democracy, a republic, a fundamentalist oligarchy, or they may choose another dictatorship. But it's their choice. Who knows, they may even follow us as we walk down the road to totalitarian plutocracy.
