The look tends to frighten people who don't know me. I think they assume I'm a serial killer. I'm amused by the reaction and the beard keeps my neck warm in the winter. derien loves it.

It will probably go away today because it's gotten to the point where I really, really have to either trim it or get rid of it. Generally I don't trim it. Farewell fur, hello razor burn and ingrown hairs.
