Tonight I'm exhausted with good cause. My little crew was short two people and for a change had plenty of work. I ended up lifting a LOT of boxes. My shoulders were bothered by some of the heavy ones that were stacked high and wedged in, but I think the lifting was good for my muscles overall. Everything's fatigued, but it's not bad. No sharp pains, just tired aches.

The other day we got a package from Teena. Among the other things she send was a bag of Jet Puff Marshmallows. This is noteworthy because it's something I can (and do) eat. When she lived in town Teena was always trying to find something to bring over when she came to visit. That's difficult when it comes to things that I will eat. I'm picky and on a restrictive diet. I was quiet impressed to see them in the package. But then again, that's typical Teena. Perhaps the only thing startling about it is that so few humans could be bothered. Many Christians talk about loving their fellow man. Few take the first steps of being considerate, empathetic, and thoughtful of their fellow man.

I made June reservations for the campground at the beach last night. It's hard to anticipate at this point because it's so far away, but it should be a really nice time. I think we might include a whale watching trip and maybe a trip to the historic mills in Haverhill, MA on the itinerary. I've been to the mills in Haverhill with my mom, but [livejournal.com profile] derien didn't get to go. I think she has the desire to stand on the granite steps of the big mill and say, "Fellow workers." :) And whales, well when can you go wrong with whales.

Planning for the other vacation will be a little more complex, but I'm starting. Honest. Outer Mongolia is right out. There, see, I've made progress. :)

I'm still working on ebooking Burns' work. Only about a quarter of the way done. In the meantime I've added another 20 cd's to the mp3 player and will probably do another 40 or 50 that are in [livejournal.com profile] derien's collection next.
