A lovely surprise

eorI went down to the mailbox this afternoon anticipating the usual collection of junk mail for other people and bills. What to my wondering eyes did I see?! A check, with my name on it, and not in the little place that says signature. Oh, happy day! That client that I'd almost written off as a complete loss came through. *does snoopy dance*
Well, I guess this means I'll have to start doing work for them again. What they lack in clear, concise requests they make up for in vague, grandios desires and nebulous criticism.
In other news: I got a spam today that said, "ARIANA'S pics" in the subject line. Honestly, the first thing that popped into my mind was "Arianna Huffington! What celebrity will they pick next?!" I thought they picked those celebrities based on youth and excessive mammalian attributes, not wit and spark. Now some might say it's just an attempt to make a Mercedes SUV go off road, but I like Arianna. She may not have it right all the time, but she is an agitator. I like that.
