reading (Me Talk Pretty)
Sep. 16th, 2006 08:36 pmI read David Sedaris' "Me Talk Pretty One Day" in less than twenty-four hours finishing it on the plane from Atlanta to Daytona. It's quite funny. Sedaris can turn an everyday thing into a delightful story. He twists things just right and has a delivery that I really enjoy. I couldn't help but share some bits of it with
derien even though I was trying to hold back and not spoil the book for her.
This book isn't meant to change your life, it's meant to make a bit of it more enjoyable. It accomplishes the task well.
