It just came to me when I read this article. I'm neither pro or con, I just thought it was a funny take on tourism.
In an unrelated fit of optimism I stripped all the blankets off the bed today. Yes, it's over 70 degrees again in the great state of Maine. There is this large orange ball in the sky. I called the government and reported a UFO. They said they've been getting reports from all around the state.

My brother's ex-wife called today looking for pain relievers. She got in a fight (common theme), got knocked down and out for quite a while, spent a while at the hospital where they told her she had a concussion, and got sent home with a "take tylenol for the pain." She called me seeking something better. This really shows a complete lack of understanding of me, my life, etc. First, I don't react well to most drugs. Anything recreational I avoid like the plague. Anything prescription I will only take under duress, because my system often reacts in unpredictable ways. Second, I've been without insurance for an extended period of time so I don't see doctors very frequently ( on the scale of dragged kicking and screaming). Third, on the occasion I do seek professional medical help I generally listen to what they have to say. The doctor said tylenol because it's not a blood thinner and it won't knock you out (concussion to coma). Wait, coma that might be a... no, that would really do a number on the karma. I'd probably have to work my hole life to not come back as a dung beetle.
Well, time to go do some house cleaning. That should take me about up to supper cooking time. I'm thinking about mashed potatoes and my mouth is watering.
