reading (The Robots of Dawn)

eorI whiled away most of the day today finishing Asimov's third robot novel, "The Robots of Dawn." I really shouldn't start reading on a Saturday morning when I've got 200 pages left of a book, my compulsive nature sets in and I don't do anything else with the day until I'm done.
This book is twice as long as its predecessors. This allowed Asimov to pace it more evenly and give more detail all around. The writing in this novel is much more modern, although it shares characters with the earlier books. Like the previous stories it is a mix of mystery, sociology, and social commentary. I don't want to give away anything meaningful, so I'll just leave it at that.
Three books in a row, without pause, and I'd still read the fourth if I had a copy of it. That says something about the writing.
