busy

After my first week at work I spent the weekend resting and letting my muscles relax. Today it was back to lifting. In an attempt to make hay while the sun shines, I'm taking the overtime that is currently available, which means 9 1/2 hour days. I'll also probably be working Saturday. By the time I get home I'm exhausted, but I'm still trying to have the dishes done and supper made by the time derien gets home. I do feel more energetic than I did last week, so I must be adapting to the exercise.

The extra hours means it's going to be hard to work on the van, which is starting less and less frequently. It's probably either a bad starter ground or the starter is going. I really should plan on crawling around underneath it before it get cold and miserable. I've been parking facing downhill when I can, but sometimes I have to push it which is a drag with a 6,000lb vehicle.

I put a couple of new recipes up on my page. We had a big cooking session Saturday afternoon then spent the rest of the weekend eating leftovers.
