Today on the way home while sitting at a stoplight I got to watch a hawk. It was circling a little ways off. It started out fairly close to the ground but began to climb just by circling in the air currents, switching this way and that, gently rising without a single flap of a wing. So graceful, so beautiful. It was very fun to watch.
