This month's Asimov's was a generally agreeable collection with no real outstanding stars. There weren't any real dogs. The theme appeared to be transitions. I did think "Postsingular" glossed over the thorniest parts of the postsingular world. I was surprised to find that the picture of an absolutely hot woman in a very well designed environment suit had no discernible connection to any of the stories. Nice eye candy though.

This week I had a hard time maintaining the pace on the chainmaille project. I made the mistake of taking Tuesday off, ostensibly to rest my muscles. That broke the steady habit I had developed and made it harder to start back in. Today I made up for slacking and got the pieces Wed & Thurs stitched in as well as weaving a today's piece. I still have a long way to go and the going is going to get harder. Sometime tomorrow I'll run out of prep'd rings. I've got lots more rings, but having to open and close them all will slow me down.

So, yeah, I haven't posted in like a week and then I post everything at once. I have been busy and it's been bloody hot for sitting in front of the computer typing.

This week consisted of work, chainmaille, dishes, fixing the songs that got mushed moving the mp3 player from one OS to another and back, adding new cd's to the mp3 player, reading, being too hot to concentrate on writing.

This summer is friggin' flyin' by. And for some reason I can't seem to sleep enough to feel rested.
