I need a bigger home
Aug. 26th, 2006 03:42 pmIt is nice and sunny so I walked down to the bookstore to browse. Today's shopping was a crapshoot of "Oh, I have no idea if it's good, but I'll grab it."
The additions to the bulging bookshelves: Lawrence Norfolk "The Pope's Rhinoceros" (sometimes you buy based on the name), David Sedaris "Me Talk Pretty One Day", Katsuki Sekida "Zen Training: Methods and Philosophy", Robert Aitken "The Mind of Clover", and Kakuzo Okakura "The Book of Tea" (it's a book of tea!). Most of them are skinny little books, but the rhino weighs in at 600 pages.
