remember me? I used to live for music
Jan. 7th, 2008 08:18 pmWith luck LookstoAlaska will be flapping her wings this week. She is scheduled to alight in Portland on Friday! How long has it been? I can't really remember, but it's been years, almost five I think.
Today I was in an amazingly upbeat mood during work. I don't know what caused it, but I was singing hopping ska songs while zooming around the warehouse on my superfast power palletjack.
I didn't come down until I was driving home in the waning light. The air hinted of spring but it was the mocking empty promise of January before she turns around and leaves us bitter cold.
Who needs January anyway. She just wouldn't wear silk pyjamas and she doesn't even have a brass section!
