the line between the devil's teeth
Jan. 19th, 2008 08:39 pmToday we got up relatively early and went down to the "Bodies" exhibit. It was a pleasant day for a drive.
My feelings are mixed about the exhibit. I found many of the displays of smaller bits interesting, but the full body stuff didn't hold as much interest. The wonder of human body is in the little niggling details that work so very well together, the compromises and intricacies. I could have gone for a lot more individual bits suspended so you could see them from all angles. Overall, I wasn't blown away by the exhibit. It was alright, but not as awesome as I had expected.
