beauty and the beat
Nov. 9th, 2008 08:07 pmThis morning as I drove to work I marveled at the beauty of the part of the world I live in. The sky was beautifully clear. The trees were in various stages of color, evergreen, and bare. The rocks were wet with last night's rain. There were millions of bright yellow leaves over the green grass in the park. Cruising along the empty roads, for a few minutes I truly appreciated the place I live. Too often, I forget to notice.
Yes, I was driving to work on Sunday. On the drive home I got to see a beautiful sunset through the few clouds on the horizon. I got some things accomplished at work and it's good to take your beauty where it presents itself.
This evening I've figured out another solution that eluded me at work, indulged in some dancing, indulged in a few drams of fortified potato, and there is beef curry, that
derien was kind enough to make, bubbling on the stove.
