reading (The Fourth Bear)
Nov. 8th, 2008 05:15 pmI finished "The Fourth Bear" on Thursday I think. Like most Jasper Fforde books, once I got into it, I couldn't put it down. I do agree with
derien's criticism that Fforde broke the 4th wall too often. It was distracting at points and I don't think those bits added anything to the book. Overall though, this was a fun book. I'm not sure I laughed as much during this one a the Humpty mystery, but I certainly enjoyed the book. I liked the resolution of the major points and the lack of resolution of several of the sidetracks.
