reading (A Series of Unfortunate Events vol. 1+2)

I read the first two books of "A Series of Unfortunate Events" this week. It's fun reading in the guise of children's books. After reading them I don't really consider them to be books for kids, they are so dark they make Roald Dahl look like "Little House". Perhaps an appropriate series for tween goths who need to laugh at themselves a bit.

The editions I have are gorgeously done little hardcovers with great illustrations.
