reading (Love Among the Chickens)
Feb. 7th, 2008 05:48 pmI finished reading Wodehouse's "Love Among the Chickens" this morning. This story isn't about chickens and it isn't about golf, although it contains both. I won't tell you what it is about because that will spoil it for you, but I will tell you it's about characters. Not characters in the sense that every book has characters. Characters in the sense that you might say about someone, "that guy is a real character!"
Surprisingly enough, Wodehouse can even make a scene of a round of golf funny. Yes, golf, the world's second most boring spectator sport after grass growing, funny.
