reading (Three Cups of Tea)

I finished reading "Three Cups of Tea" on Saturday. It's a book that can't quite figure out what it wants to be. I know it wants to be an inspiration book, but it can't decide whether it wants to be a pure biography or not. I after the initial section parts of the book rang not quite pitch perfect to me. I'm not saying they sounded false, just a little sharp or flat. Perhaps the books wasn't thoroughly conceived, or maybe the writer wasn't quite up to the task of pulling the meta and the detail together into one thread.

Overall, I was glad to get more understanding about the geography of the area and the different peoples who inhabit it. I think the book could have been done better, but it was a worthwhile read.
