I've got this crazy almost idea of trying to do the Trek Across Maine this year. 180 miles in three days. Yes, there was a time when I used to ride 20+ miles a day every day averaging 25mph or so. But that was years ago. I haven't seriously biked in what 15 years. But I'm toying this idea of doing it, just to prove I can, that I'm not completely over the hill.
Anyway, if I can shovel the best part of seven yards of stone in a day, I can do anything right?
Today I aired up the tires on
derien's bike (the only one in the house).
I really don't need another project right now, but it would be good for my glutes and bring balance to my legs which are out of balance because of too much strength in my quads.
I really don't need another project right now. Plus I'd hate trying to raise $500 from sponsors.
