eorIt's time to dust off the big speakers. You can either play name that tune or not, I'm just playing the music loud because I feel like it. This stuff has layers and layers of dust on it. You'll be showing your age if you speak up.

Anyone can pay or just stay away,
Anyone can crash and thump"
"As we taxied down the runway,
I could hear the people shout,
'Don't come back here Yankee.'
But if I ever do,
I'll bring more money."
Sometimes dancing is the best way to get by.
"Now I'm glad that I have quit,
folks these days just don't do nothin'
simply for the love of it."
There are people who's whole life has been spent within a 20 mile radius.
They've never seen the sea, mountains, or real quantities of trees.
The amazing thing is they don't miss any of these things.
I think of all the places I miss,
but I wonder if I'm one of these people without realizing it.

I'm crazy over you.
So before the death of lover,
and the punishment of pride,
let's go scrape on the terrazzo,
it's just too hot outside."
Smooth polished concrete floors,
water glasses running with sweat.
Driving with your eyes close
can be literal or a metaphor.
Kinda heavy on that album, but it was a rather colorful period of history for me.

we'd been cast out of."
Sometimes dreams are superior to reality,
other times they just appear to be.

you shaved off all your hair.

On Monhegan Island there's an iron boat with which the sea has had its way.
It's really weird to stand by such thick iron twisted on its edges so that it looks organic.
Mind bending really.

on the edge
and off the avenue."
