reading (Bachelors Anonymous)
Nov. 28th, 2010 04:50 pmI finished P.G. Wodehouse's "Bachelors Anonymous" last night. It is a short novel coming in at just under 200 pages of good sized print. Wodehouse weaves his little cast together in a twisted series of connection. London becomes a very small town, indeed. I don't think this is Wodehouse at the top of his game, but even so, he writes wonderfully. Even his extreme coincidences are handled with aplomb. I was amazed by the copyright date on this book (1974). Wodehouse was still going pretty strong into his late years.
