the cow says, "moosic"
Feb. 25th, 2004 07:54 pmI took a big chance at the high school dance and bought a lot of 75 ska Cd's on ebay. It was listed as from a now defunct distributor's inventory. Not knowing how many dupes I'd get, the quality of the recordings, whether they might be bootlegs, whether I'd get anything at all made it a chance, but I couldn't pass it up. 75 Cd's for $130 including the shipping.
They arrived today. I got 45 unique titles! They were all wrapped in their original plastic, with their full inserts and liner notes. Some even had the price stickers from the original retailer. They also included a VHS tape, some buttons and some stickers. So far I've only listened to 3 of the CD's, but the quality seems to be there (both in recordings and in the bands).
Here are the details. The number in parenthesis is the number of duplicate copies I received.
